New Student Events and Orientation
Congratulations on your admission to graduate study at the USC Viterbi School of Engineering. We are proud of your achievements and we enthusiastically welcome you to our community of scholars. Please review the appropriate sections below for information related to our new student events and graduate student orientations:
- USC Graduate Student Orientation (Required for International Students)
- USC Viterbi New Master's Students Welcome (Multiple Events - All Masters Students)
- Distance Education Network (DEN@Viterbi) Student Orientation
To welcome students to the community of scholars at USC, The Graduate School and USC Orientation Programs offers a university-wide graduate student orientation. We encourage all graduate students to attend the USC Graduate Student Orientation to learn about campus services, student life, university policies, and resources available to you. The safety portion of this orientation is required for incoming international students. Please visit the USC Graduate Student Orientation site to reserve your seat for Thursday January 7.
All incoming master's students pursuing on-campus programs of study are encouraged to attend the Viterbi New Master's Student Welcome. The Office of the Dean, Graduate Professional Programs, current students and faculty will provide information about resources available through the Viterbi School. Students will also attend the USC Viterbi: A Community of Honor workshop (which is required for all students interested in pursuing Curricular Practical Training or Academic Training). It will also be a chance for new students to network with faculty, department staff and their fellow classmates.
